  2. How to extend 25-use trial for Skyscape Palm Products

  4. Skyscape makes medical and drug applications for the
  5. Palm. You can download trials at "www.skyscape.com".

  9. NOTE: This method will reactivate the trial software
  10.       for those wishing a few more uses to evaluate.
  11.       THIS IS NOT INTENDED TO BE USED TO LEECH THE
  12.       SOFTWARE. IF YOU LIKE SKYSCAPE, BUY THEIR
  13.       PRODUCTS AND SUPPORT THEM!

  15. EXTRA NOTE:  I'm not responsible for any screwup that
  16.              may occur to your Palm, use this hack at
  17.              your own risk.

  20. EXTENDING TRIAL PERIOD FOR SKYSCAPE PRODUCTS
  21. ============================================
  22. You need a Palm resource-editing utility such as
  23. "RsrcEdit" (available at http://www.individeo.net)
  24. loaded on your Palm.

  26. Once you've run out of uses (trial expired) run
  27. "RsrcEdit" and scroll down the databases until you
  28. get to the "Saved Preferences" section. Open this
  29. database to view a list of resources.
  30.  
  31. You will notice one (or more) resources of type "K000".
  32. Delete all the "K000" resources you find by highlighting
  33. them, going to the Menu and choosing Edit/Delete.
  34.  
  35. This will reactivate all your installed Skyscape
  36. products back to 25-uses so you can evaluate further.
